Presentation
Professor of contemporary history at UGA , I am a researcher at the Rhône-Alpes Historical Research Laboratory ( Larhra ). I am co-responsible for the Transalpes axis of the MSH-Alpes, former member of the Codir of Labex ITTEM, and currently vice-president “Research and innovation” in charge of humanities and social UGA .
Field of research
My work focuses on the social and environmental impacts of industrialization and deindustrialization processes during the 20th and 21st centuries. I am particularly interested in the history of the economic systems of mountain territories, from electrochemistry to tourism, to understand how, and why, societies last, or not, in their territories.
