Governance of Labex ITTEM

Since September 2022, Kirsten Koop (Pacte) and Mikaël Chambru (Gresec) have been jointly managing Labex ITTEM.

The program's governance is structured around several bodies:

The Bureau: made up of researchers from Labex member laboratories, this body assists the scientific coordinators in defining Labex ITTEM’s strategy, launches the various calls for projects, participates in the evaluation of submitted projects, and prepares the Labex’s scientific and partnership activities.

The Steering Committee: made up of representatives of the Labex’s supervisory bodies, the committee defines the Labex’s scientific and financial strategy. It decides on the annual budget and organizes Labex evaluations.

The Unit Management Committee: made up of the heads of Labex member laboratories, this committee draws up the provisional budget and validates Labex ITTEM’s activities and projects.

The Scientific Council: made up of leading scientists from outside the UGA and Labex ITTEM, it receives annual reports and can be consulted by the Steering Committee on any strategic issue concerning the Labex. Grégoire Leray is Chairman.
