Presentation
I am a doctoral student at the Edytem laboratory on the Bourget-du-lac campus (Université Savoie Mont Blanc). After a degree in geography and planning in Albi (Inuc), I focused on the theme of human – non-human relationships during my two years of master's degree. First by exploring the conflicts linked to wild boars between hunters and breeders in Ariège (master 1 thesis) then by an internship (Edytem) on mountain hunting practices in the Bauges massif (Savoie) and their relationship to wildlife (master thesis 2). This path leads me today to carry out a thesis on the practices and lived experiences of wildlife observation tourism.
Field of research
Through my doctoral work, I question the notion of transition and more particularly the tourist and recreational transition by studying the dynamics of mid-mountain destinations, between transition and diversification of practices. These processes are paralleled with changes in the relationship with nature, and more precisely in my case, relationships with wild animals.
