The future of ski resorts in The Conversation
At a time when Domaines skiables de France is releasing its provisional results for the 2019-2020 season, which was brought to a screeching halt on March 15 due to the coronavirus epidemic, Emmanuelle George – a researcher at Lessem (Inrae) and Labex ITTEM – talks to The Conversation about the issues that are forcing ski resorts to rethink their model: snow cover, clienteles, tourism offer, accommodation, territorial developments.
