Presentation

During my studies in social anthropology, I initially explored the relationships that humans have with laboratory-based entities such as androids or bacteria. Then, as part of my doctoral research, I studied how the perceptions and emotions that recreational mountain enthusiasts have toward the mountain environment are shaped over the course of their individual life trajectories.

Research domain

My work lies at the intersection of environmental sociology and the anthropology of science. It examines the role of scientific activities in shaping the relationships that humans have with their environment and the nonhuman entities that comprise it.
