On February 6, two Grenoble teacher-researchers in down jackets embarked on a science popularization marathon on Twitch. Watch the videos of this experiment.

11 hours of non-stop live science popularization on the Twitch streaming platform, followed by over 400 viewers… A successful gamble for Mikaël Chambru and Raphaël Lachello – two researchers in Human and Social Sciences at Grenoble Alpes University – and the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme Alpes team involved in the project.

The aim of the operation? To enable a wider public to discover what researchers do behind the doors of their laboratories, or in the field.

For those who missed this unique adventure, it is now possible to relive the day on video. For Labex ITTEM, the twitcheurs met historian Stéphane Gal and geographer Cristina Del Biaggio.

On September 17, this experiment will be discussed as part of a study day entitled Twitch: a new space for scientific expression?
