Inter- and transdisciplinarity: the Alps under the microscope

Zone Atelier Alpes and Labex ITTEM are co-organizing a seminar dedicated to inter- and trans-disciplinary research on November 15, 2023.

The seminar, Recherches inter et transdisciplinaires: que nous apprennent les études et les expériences menées dans les Alpes? will take place from 2pm to 4:30pm on the Saint-Martin-d’Hères university campus (salle IMAG).

Following an introduction by Isabelle Arpin (Lessem), Carine Pachoud will speak on the topic of Accompagner les transformations agrialimentaires soutenables dans les territoires de montagne : l’expérience des Bauges, the subject of her post-doctorate conducted within Labex ITTEM.

Iago Otero, from the Centre de recherche interdisciplinaire sur la montagne (University of Lausanne), will present research results on the theme of inter/transdisciplinarity and transformation.

Researcher Lisa Deutsch (Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology – Eawag) will speak in English on Living up to integrative ambitions in inter- and transdisciplinary programs – The role of conditions and leadership.

A general discussion will conclude the afternoon.
