A visit to Innovative SHS 2022
The 5th edition of Innovative SHS, organized by the CNRS on May 18 and 19 onthe Condorcet Campus in Aubervilliers, will feature two projects linked to Labex ITTEM’s work.
Sébastien de Pertat, a doctoral student in the Ambiance, architectures urbanités (AAU) laboratory at the Grenoble School of Architecture, will be presenting Losonnante, a bone conduction sound transmission device born of a Pacte laboratory educational workshop, supported by Labex ITTEM in 2015 and designed for the site of Lac de Paladru in Isère.
Since then, prototypes have been developed (public spaces, museums) and experiments have put this original idea to the test, enabling heritage or natural sites to be apprehended through their sound dimension. The project, already presented at the 2017 Innovatives SHS trade show in Marseille, has been taken up by Satt Linksium with an entrepreneurial perspective.
Innovatives SHS 2022 is also an opportunity to discover the Cosmethics project . Cosmetics at the confluence of health, well-being and beauty since the 1930s. Part of theTransalpes axis of the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme-Alpes, it is led by Anne-Marie Granet, a researcher at the Laboratoire de recherche historique Rhône-Alpes(Larhra). In connection with this project, Simon Chupin’s thesis, Thermalisme, soin, cosmétiques: Les entreprises de la belle santé dans les Alpes depuis 1950, is supported by Labex ITTEM.
The leaders of these two projects – Losonnante and Cosmethics – are taking part in round tables organized as part of Innovatives SHS 2022.
