Winner of the call for projects launched by the Réseau national des Maisons des sciences de l’homme, the project TranSports : les sports et les loisirs dans le contexte de la coopération territoriale européenne : action publique, pratiques et usages, led by Yannick Hernandez (Université de Bordeaux), will examine the reality of cross-border sports and leisure practices on a European scale.
A mountain section, coordinated by Clémence Perrin-Malterre (Edytem) and supported by MSH Alpes, will focus on the Espace Mont-Blanc: encompassing 35 communes and 100,000 inhabitants, this structure covers the territories of Savoie and Haute-Savoie, the Aosta Valley Autonomous Region (Italy) and the Canton of Valais (Switzerland).
