Transtat project on track
For two days, on the initiative of Inrae and Labex ITTEM, researchers from Italy (Unimont, Università degli studi di Milano), Switzerland (Institute for tourism and leisure, University of applied sciences of the Grisons), Austria (Institute for interdisciplinary mountain research, Austrian academy of sciences), Slovenians (Anton Melik geographical institute, Research center of the Slovenian academy for sciences and arts) and French (Lessem/Inrae, Irege/USMB, Sens/UGA laboratories) met at the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme -Alpes to work on this project.
The aim is to support ski resorts and their territories in their economic, social, environmental and organizational transitions.
Conducted on the scale of the Alpine arc and launched in September 2020 in the Vercors, the Transtat project is led by Inrae (Grenoble) with the support of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.
