Currently a doctoral student at the Pacte laboratory, I study from a geographical and historical perspective the police strategies of immigration control on the French-Italian border in the Hautes-Alpes and their consequences for social relations of class and race in the space of the border zone.

I work on the militarization of Alpine borders in the context of tightening border controls for migrants. I study how mountain spaces are transformed by police presence and control practices at different scales.
