After working for local mountain authorities in urban planning, I decided to devote myself to transalpine doctoral research on second homes. In this way, I hope to contribute to professional scientific insights into the resilience of permanent living in a context of strong tourist attraction.

The aim of my doctoral research is to characterize the uses of second homes and identify local public responses that promote the resilience of permanent living under tourist real estate pressure. The thesis is based on multiple case studies of territories with strong tourist appeal in the Alpine Arc.
