Presentation

Professor of contemporary history at UGA, I am a researcher at the Laboratoire de recherche historique Rhône-Alpes (Larhra). I am co-responsible for the Transalpes axis of MSH-Alpes, a former member of the Labex ITTEM Codir, and currently Vice-President "Research and Innovation" in charge of Human and Social Sciences at UGA.

Research domain

My work focuses on the social and environmental impacts of industrialization and deindustrialization in the 20th and 21st centuries. I'm particularly interested in the history of economic systems in mountain areas, from electrochemistry to tourism, to understand how and why companies endure, or not, in their territories.
