Landscapes in motion
The “Alpine Anthropocene” exhibition opens tomorrow and runs until November 21, 2020 at La Plateforme (Grenoble. How do landscapes reflect global warming, which is having a major impact on mountain ranges and their populations, and what does scientific research tell us about future developments? Using the French Alps as an example, Etienne Maury’s photographs invite us to consider these issues.
The photographer had the opportunity to present his work at the seminar “Paysages alpins en mouvement”, organized by Zone Atelier Alpes and Labex ITTEM in December 2019, the proceedings of which are available here.
