Collectif Perce-Neige organizes a research residency in Vercors

Labex ITTEM and Collectif Perce-Neige are offering an inter- and trans-disciplinary research residency where young researchers and local players work together to develop action-research questions to address the challenges of a mountain region.

This first edition will take place in immersion over 5 days(see pre-program), from Sunday November 21 to Thursday November 25, 2021, on the territory of the commune of Gresse-en-Vercors (Isère). The aim of this “In Situ” experience is to experiment with new transdisciplinary research practices in the form of a reflexive sprint to initiate reflections on the transition challenges facing this mid-mountain territory in the context of global change.

Participants will experiment with different research methods: working in groups with a high degree of disciplinary heterogeneity, as well as with non-academic stakeholders (local and regional players, local residents, etc.) through surveys or collective workshops. The week will close with a presentation to local stakeholders on the work undertaken to address the region’s transition challenges.

Doctoral and post-doctoral students, come and try the In Situ experience. Pre-registration is open until November 12, 2021.

This training offer, aimed at doctoral and post-doctoral students working on mountain territories (with priority given to Grenoble Alpes and Savoie Mont-Blanc Universities), is supported by Labex ITTEM. Candidates are responsible for their own travel expenses.
