A new project for Labex

Created in 2011, Labex ITEM became Labex ITTEM in 2020, for Innovations et TRANSITIONS Territoriales en Montagne. Transitions involve profound changes, transforming man’s relationship with nature and society.
Observing these transitions means trying to understand how they can help to meet the major challenges facing mountain territories: climate change, resource scarcity, loss of biodiversity, energy, mobility, tourism, migration, governance and the notion of “living”.
To support its new project, Labex ITTEM is undergoing a number of changes: renewed governance, a consolidated support team and a revamped website. In the coming weeks, you can follow the calls for projects and news from the laboratory on this page.
